Secretary for Transport & Housing Prof Anthony Cheung has called on students to remain peaceful and maintain public order.
Speaking to the media today, Prof Cheung said while students have every right to express their views about political reform, they must respect others while expressing them.
He said tolerating different views is very important.
He added that discussion on constitutional development should be flexible, and we must try to strive for the best within the Basic Law and the National People’s Congress decision on political reform.
