Non-official ExCo members strongly condemn troublemakers and organisations who initiated violent acts in Mong Kok.

In a statement issued today, the members said it was obviously not a peaceful demonstration, and they fully support Police enforcement measures to restore social order and ensure public safety.

The violent acts of gathering on roads and blocking them illegally, as well as charging Police cordon lines in Mong Kok last night seriously disrupted social order, endangered public safety and affected the daily lives of people living in the vicinity, the statement added.
