The Department of Health has revised the list of Ebola affected areas in response to the World Health Organisation’s announcement that Sierra Leone is free of human Ebloa virus transmission.
The WHO said the outbreak in Sierra Leone has ended for 42 days, twice the maximum incubation period.
The department will issue letters to doctors and hospitals on the update.
It also repeated its appeal to the public to avoid unnecessary travel to Guinea which is still on the Ebola list.
