The Department of Health is monitoring three newly reported Middle East Respiratory Syndrome cases, two in Saudi Arabia and one in Qatar.
The patients involved are two men and a woman aged 68 to 73. One man is in critical condition.
No human cases have been recorded locally.
The department advises travel agents organising tours to the Middle East not to arrange camel rides and activities involving the animals, which may increase the risk of infection.
As Ramadan will begin in mid-June, the department reminds pilgrims preparing to visit the Middle East to stay vigilant against the disease.
