Eighteen people in quarantine have shown no Middle East Respiratory Syndrome symptoms so far, Secretary for Food & Health Dr Ko Wing-man says.
They are close contacts of a Korean man with MERS who travelled from Korea to the Mainland last week via Hong Kong. They have been quarantined at Lady MacLehose Holiday Village.
They are all stable and will remain under watch, Dr Ko said, adding the Food & Health Bureau has been enhancing surveillance work.
Health advice will be given on all flights returning from the Middle East and other affected areas, reminding people with symptoms to report to health personnel when they land, he added.
