16 new H7N9 cases reported

The Centre for Health Protection has learned of 16 new avian influenza A (H7N9) cases on the Mainland.
 
They involve eight men and eight women aged 20 to 83 in Dongguan, Fujian, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Xinjiang.
 
Three of them died while the others are in critical or serious condition.
 
They bring the total number of confirmed H7N9 cases on the Mainland to 478.
