The Centre for Health Protection received notification today of seven additional human cases of avian influenza A (H7N9) - four in Xinjiang, two in Zhejiang and one in Jiangsu.
The patients include five men and two women aged 36 to 81.
Four have died. Two are in hospital. One did not require hospitalisation.
There have been 454 confirmed cases on the Mainland.
The centre advised people to maintain good personal, food and environmental hygiene during travel.
