The Centre for Health Protection is monitoring seven new human H7N9 cases on the Mainland, including two each in Zhaoqing and Zhejiang, and one each in Guangzhou, Hunan and Fujian.
The cases involve four men and three women, aged 21 to 81. The Fujian case was an 81-year-old man who died on February 6.
This brings the number of confirmed cases on the Mainland to 317.
