Man with H7N9 dies

A 65-year-old man infected with H7N9 died this evening, the Centre for Health Protection announced.
 
Five of his close contacts were put under quarantine and prescribed Tamiflu. These and another 98 contacts are under medical surveillance. Seven of eight of those which had symptoms tested negative for the virus, and one result is pending.
 
Mainland authorities have also reported four new human H7N9 cases - two in Foshan and two in Zhejiang.
 
A total of 169 human cases of H7N9 have been confirmed on the Mainland so far.
