H7 cases test negative

The Centre for Health Protection has been notified of one suspected human case of avian influenza A (H7N9) fulfilling reporting criteria, and one case which did not. Both tested negative for the virus.
The update covers noon yesterday to noon today.
The suspected case meeting reporting criteria involves a 50-year-old woman who visited Beijing. She is now stable.
Since March 31, the centre has been notified of 15 cases fulfilling reporting criteria, and 40 which do not.
No confirmed human cases of the virus have been recorded so far.
