A special meeting of the Legislative Council House Committee will be held on August 3 to discuss the co-location plan for the Hong Kong Section of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link.
Speaking to the media today, Chief Secretary Matthew Cheung said government officials will brief legislators on the plan and answer their questions at the meeting.
He said the Government will arrange legislators to inspect the West Kowloon Station site of the Hong Kong Section of the express rail link.
Mr Cheung called on legislators to support the plan as it will maximise the rail's potential.
