Hong Kong's constitutional reform is at its most critical moment and the Government is working hard to garner more public support for the reform package in the coming weeks, Chief Secretary Carrie Lam said.
Speaking to the media this morning upon her arrival to Hong Kong after a visit to Europe, Mrs Lam stressed that the reform package is a comprehensive and legally practical one.
She urged legislators to support the package to achieve universal suffrage for the 2017 Chief Executive election.
Mrs Lam also noted that she supports the community-organised signature campaign in support of the package.
She urged people to join the campaign to show their desire for universal suffrage in 2017.
