ExCo regrets protest disorder

Non-official Executive Council Members expressed regret over the chaos caused by the Occupy Central movement.
 
Members said in a statement tonight that they understand the need for, and support, the Police's resolute enforcement actions in restoring public order as soon as possible to avoid disruption of normal activities tomorrow such as going to work.
 
They called on people not to participate in any illegal activities, and to express their views in a rational and peaceful manner.
