More reform meetings to be held

Chief Secretary Carrie Lam says the Government will host four breakfast meetings in March for Legislative Council members and Central People's Government Liaison Office officials to exchange views on legal matters relating to Hong Kong's constitutional development.
Mr Lam told reporters today that following a round of dinners hosted for legislators earlier, some members suggested liaison office officials should be invited to such gatherings to exchange views.
The Government has followed up on the suggestion and made the arrangements accordingly. Mrs Lam said she hopes legislators will accept the invitation.
She added that a large scale seminar on the Basic Law will be held in March to promote public understanding on it and its relationship with Hong Kong’s constitutional development.
