Chief Executive CY Leung has expressed hope that the education system could resume normal operations as soon as possible now that the policy on the moral and national education subject has been amended.
Speaking to the media today after casting his votes, Mr Leung called on electors to vote in the 2012 Legislative Council Election.
On the national education matter, Mr Leung said he hoped those who had staged a hunger strike would regain their health. He said the amended policy announced yesterday was a result of consolidating views from different groups.
