Taxi passenger dies in Kowloon City crash

Police have arrested a taxi driver for dangerous driving causing death following a Kowloon City traffic accident in which a 32-year-old taxi passenger died.

 

At about 1.20am today, the 35-year-old taxi driver was driving along Argyle Street towards Mong Kok. He lost control of the car near Soares Street, rammed the central divider and stopped on the opposite lane.

 

Three passengers in the taxi, men aged 31, 32 and 49, were sent to Kwong Wah Hospital where the 32-year-old was certified dead at 2.22am.
