Two men died and 11 others were injured in a No.3 alarm fire in a 16-storey godown at 3 Kin Chuen Street, Tsuen Wan last night.

The fire broke out on the sixth floor at 6.46pm and was upgraded to a No.3 alarm at 6.54pm. Sixteen breathing-apparatus teams were mobilised and three jets were used to fight the blaze. Firefighters put out the blaze at 9.19 pm.

Two men were found dead on the sixth and seventh floors.

The 11 injured men, aged 18 to 54, were sent to Yan Chai Hospital for treatment. Four of them were in stable condition and the rest were discharged.
