The Customs & Excise Department has foiled a smuggling attempt in Sai Kung, seizing 1,237 computer hard disks in 52 cartons and a private car.

The $400,000 seizure was made when Customs officers found seven men moving the goods from the car to a speedboat in Nam Wai at about 4am today. No arrests were made.
