Amber travel alert issued for Greece
*

The Security Bureau has issued an amber travel alert for Greece due to demonstrations in Athens. It reminds Hong Kong residents planning to visit the country, and those already there, to monitor the situation and exercise caution.

The bureau is liaising with the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China in Hong Kong.

Situation updates will be issued through the media and the travel alert webpage.

Residents requiring help while outside Hong Kong can call the Immigration Department's 24-hour hotline (852) 1868.
