At about 1pm on February 7, a lorry was travelling along Tai Po Road downhill towards Mong Kok. It reportedly ran onto the pavement after hitting the railing near the junction with Shek Kip Mei Street.

The 59-year-old lorry driver sustained minor injuries while a 59-year-old female passenger fell out of the vehicle. Five pedestrians, aged from 36 to 66, were also injured.

The 59-year-old woman was certified dead at 5.51pm on February 10 at Princess Margaret Hospital. The driver was arrested for dangerous driving and has been released on bail pending further investigations.

Anyone who saw the accident or who has any information is urged to contact Police on 2773 5258 or 2773 5200.

At about 6.50am on February 16, a tram travelling along westbound Shau Kei Wan Road reportedly hit a 62-year-old man near the junction with Nam Hong Street.

The man was sent to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital, where he died at 7.55pm on February 18.
