Nineteen illegal workers and seven employers have been arrested at eight Lunar New Year Fair venues.

Immigration, Police and Labour Department officers took part in the raids today. Pamphlets were also distributed to the public warning against unlawful employment.

The six male and 13 female illegal workers were visitors, suspected to have breached their conditions of stay by engaging in sales and casual work.

The seven Hong Kong employers, four men and three women, were arrested for hiring illegal workers.
