Twenty people were arrested for immigration and illegal employment offences in a citywide crackdown yesterday.

Immigration officers arrested nine illegal workers and two employers during raids on restaurants, shops, market stalls, and residential and commercial units under renovation.

Another eight women were arrested near Siu Ho Wan on Lantau Island for illegal immigration and overstaying, along with one local believed to be helping them in their illicit stay.
