Police are seeking information on a traffic accident in Central today in which a 25-year-old woman was killed.

She was knocked down by a van about 4.30pm while crossing Cotton Tree Drive near Queensway.

She was sent to Queen Mary Hospital with a head injury and later died.

Witnesses should call Police on 3106 8848 or 3106 8800.
