Teens charged for boy's murder

*
Hong Kong Police

Police have charged three men, aged 14 to 19, jointly with one count of murder. They will appear in Kwun Tong Magistracy January 25.

A 15-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy have also been charged with conspiracy to wound with intent. The boy appeared in Kwun Tong Magistracy yesterday and will re-appear February 5, while the girl was in court today.

On January 15, five boys aged 14 to 17 were assaulted by another group of males outside Lung Chi House in Lower Wong Tai Sin Estate. A 15-year-old boy was seriously injured and later died. Four mobile phones were stolen in the incident.

A post-mortem examination found the boy died of internal bleeding from a ruptured liver.

Sixteen were arrested over the incident. Nine other men have been released on bail.
