Customs officers have seized 86 ivory tusks worth $2 million from a container shipped to Hong Kong.

 

They found the tusks concealed inside a consignment at Kwai Chung Container Terminal yesterday.

 

The consignment, declared as 285 pieces of "White Wood" from Nigeria, was shipped to Hong Kong via Malaysia on December 18.

 

An investigation is underway.
