Amber travel alert on Iran issued
*

The Security Bureau today issued an amber outbound travel alert for Iran and urged travellers to monitor the situation in the country and exercise caution.

 

Reports say five people have been killed and more than 300 arrested in the most violent anti-government protests in the country for several months.

 

Travellers needing assistance outside Hong Kong can call the Immigration Department's hotline (852)1868.
