A $300,000 reward has been offered for information on the three cases in which bottles containing hydrochloric acid were thrown from Sham Shui Po buildings in June and October.

 

About 6pm June 15, at 3.40pm October 24 and 10.50am October 30, Police received reports beer bottles had been thrown from buildings in or near the alley at 4 Fuk Wa Street, 71-73 Fuk Wing Street and 185 Apliu Street.

 

They contained hydrochloric acid which splashed when the bottles broke on impact with the ground. No one was hurt in the incidents.

 

The reward is valid for six months and will be paid in full or pro-rata to anyone offering information leading to the arrest and satisfactory prosecution of those responsible.
