Visa-free travel to Guam approved
*
Immigration Department

Hong Kong SAR passport holders will be able to visit Guam visa-free for up to 45 days from November 28.

The visa-free period for SAR passport holders visiting the Northern Mariana Islands has also been extended from 30 to 45 days.

The passport holders will need to present valid Hong Kong Permanent Identity Cards on arrival in Guam or the Northern Mariana Islands.

The Immigration Department said the arrangements offer greater convenience to SAR passport holders and help promote trade, business and tourism links between Hong Kong and the islands.

Guam is the 140th country or territory that has granted visa-free access or visas-on-arrival to SAR passport holders.
