Woman arrested for drug trafficking

Customs officers have arrested a 46-year-old woman for trafficking 1.8kg of heroin, worth $1.5 million, at the airport.

 

She was checked on arrival from Hyderabad, India, via Singapore yesterday. Ten slabs of heroin were found inside false compartments of five handbags in her suitcase.

 

She will be charged with trafficking and will appear in Tsuen Wan Magistracy tomorrow.
