Alert issued over fraudulent bank website

HK Monetary Authority

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority today alerted the public to a fraudulent website with the domain name http://tracker.deton.net.ua/cnstats/lang/index_p.php, which looks similar to the official website of Industrial & Commercial Bank of China (Asia) Limited.

 

The bank has clarified that it has no connection with the fraudulent website. It has reported the case to the Police for further investigation.

 

Anyone who has provided personal information to the website or has conducted any financial transactions through the website should contact ICBC (Asia) at 2189 5588 and any Police station or the Commercial Crime Bureau at 2860 5012.
