Man arrested with $3m in 'ice'
*

Customs officers have arrested a 52-year-old Filipino man after seizing 4kg of methamphetamine, or 'ice', worth $3 million at the airport.

Officers intercepted him in the departure hall as he was about to leave for Manila at 9.30pm yesterday. A false compartment was found in his checked-in suitcase with 13 packets of ice in it.

He will be charged with drug trafficking and will appear in Tuen Mun Magistracy tomorrow.
