Police today charged a 35-year-old woman with murder. Sh will appear at Kwun Tong Magistrates' Courts tomorrow.

She is charged in connection with the death of a 47-year-old woman in Happy Valley on June 11.

At about 4.50am that day, police received a report of a woman yelling for help in a flat at 5-7 Tai Hang Road. When they arrived, they found the woman lying unconscious on the living room floor with multiple cuts. A chopper was found beside her.

Ambulancemen certified her dead at the scene.

The 35-year-old woman was found in the bedroom with hand injuries. She was sent to Ruttonjee Hospital and was later arrested.
