*
Hong Kong Police

Police are appealing for witnesses to a traffic accident in Sai Kung on February 6 in which an 80-year-old woman was injured.

A motorcycle driven by a 47-year-old man was travelling along Hiram's Highway towards Kowloon at about 10am. As it approached a fire station, it reportedly knocked down the woman while avoiding collision with an unknown vehicle.

The woman had injuries to her head and right leg and was sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital. She is now in serious condition.

Witnesses should call Police on 2305 7571 or 2305 7500.
