Processing time cut for kids' passports

Immigration Department

The processing time for applications for Hong Kong Special Administrative Region passports of children under 11 years who do not hold Hong Kong permanent identity cards will be reduced from 19 to 14 working days from February 16.

 

The Immigration Department said today that applications received before February 16 would still require 19 working days' processing time.

 

The relevant application channels, requirements and fees will remain unchanged.
