Appointment: Assistant Commissioner of Correctional Services Sin Yat-kin will become Deputy Commissioner February 2.

Assistant Commissioner of Correctional Services Sin Yat-kin will become Deputy Commissioner February 2, replacing Ying Kwok-ching who will retire after 34 years' service.

Joining the former Prisons Department in 1979 as an officer, Mr Sin was appointed to his current Correctional Services Department post in 2005.

Stanley Prison's Chief Superintendent Law Wai-fung will be promoted to Chief Superintendent of Correctional Services, while Senior Superintendent (Integrated Technology) Leung Po-kai will become Senior Superintendent of Correctional Services.
