Driver dies in Tin Sum crash
*
Hong Kong Police

Police are investigating a traffic accident in Tin Sum in which a 31-year-old driver died after his van rammed into a kerb near Mei Lam Estate.

At about 7.50am today, the man was driving along a Tsing Sha Highway service road towards Tai Po Road when his van reportedly rammed into the kerb on the right.

The van continued to move for about 100 meters and the driver was thrown from the vehicle. The vehicle eventually stopped after it ran further for about 400 meters and struck the kerb on the left.

The driver was certified dead at the scene.

Anyone who saw the accident or who has any information to offer is urged to contact Police at 3661 1300.
