*

Police are investigating a Kwai Chung traffic accident in which a 36-year-old motorcyclist died this morning.

He lost control and rammed into the back of a van on Kwai Chung Road near the Lai King MTR Station footbridge about 8.20am.

Falling to the road, he was then run over by the rear wheel of a container truck travelling in the same direction. He was certified dead at the scene.

The truck and its 42-year-old driver were later located in Tsuen Wan.

Witnesses should call 3661 1300.
