Customs officers have arrested a truck driver after seizing $52 million worth of unmanifested electrical products from his lorry at Sha Tau Kok Control Point.

Officers yesterday stopped the suspicious lorry declared to be carrying DVD player parts and found 556 cartons of unmanifested electrical products, including digital cameras, digital video cameras, mobile phones, hard disks and RAMs.

The 40-year-old local driver has been released on bail.
