The Monetary Authority warns consumers about a fraudulent voice response unit on telephone number 6635 4970 claimed to be operated by a "Hong Kong Delta Asia Bank" (香港匯業銀行).

The bank is not authorised to conduct banking business or to take deposits in Hong Kong, nor does it have approval to establish a local representative office.

Anyone who has provided their personal information via the voice response unit or who has conducted any financial transactions through the unit should contact Police on 2860 5012.
