Police have arrested a 40-year-old woman for dangerous driving after her car struck and killed an elderly woman in Tai Po today.

The car was turning right into Tat Wan Road when it reportedly struck the 69-year-old about 6.20am.

She was sent to Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital and was later transferred to Prince of Wales Hospital where she was certified dead at 9.24am.
