The District Court today sentenced Mao Chung-ming, 39, to three and a half years' jail for possessing counterfeit credit cards.
Police arrested him at Hong Kong International Airport on May 28. He was about to fly to Milan when the officers found 140 semi-finished counterfeit credit cards in his suitcase.
A trans-national counterfeit credit card syndicate in Shenzhen had recruited him.
He pleaded guilty in the District Court yesterday to a charge of possessing equipment for making false instruments.
