1 dead, 2 injured in Aberdeen car crash

A 66-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed by a car in Aberdeen at about 5am today.

 

A 26-year-old man was driving the car along Aberdeen Praya Road towards Wong Chuk Hang when it hit the man as he was crossing the road.

 

The victim died at the scene.

After hitting the man, the car rammed a railing and the glass window of a shop outside a mall. The driver and his 24-year-old passenger were also injured.

Hong Kong Island's special traffic investigation team is following up. Anyone who saw the accident is asked to call 3106 8801.
