Auxiliary Police Force Commandant Arthur Kwok will extend his service for two years up to September 2010, the Security Bureau says.

The bureau praised Mr Kwok for leading the auxiliary force with excellence and enjoying the loyalty and respect of its members. The auxiliary Police will benefit from his leadership during a period of reform and challenges.

Mr Kwok joined the auxiliary force in June 1977, and was promoted to Commandant in January 2001.
