Police seek fatal accident witnesses

Police are appealing for information on a fatal traffic accident in Kowloon City in which a 47-year-old man died.

 

On August 1 at 12.25am the man, standing behind a van parked on Prince Margaret Road, was hit by a taxi heading towards Sha Tin.

 

The victim died in Queen Elizabeth Hospital the next day.

 

The 47-year-old taxi driver and a male passenger also sustained injuries and were taken to hospital. The driver was later arrested for reckless driving causing death and has been released on bail.

 

Witnesses should call Police on 2773 5262 or 2380 6052.
