Senior inspector's death under probe
*
Hong Kong Police

Police are investigating a 40-year-old Senior Inspector's death, who was found injured in his Hong Kong Island Regional Crime Headquarters office in Wan Chai this afternoon and later died.

At about 2.40pm, the officer - attached to Hong Kong Island Regional Crime Unit - was found with a gun shot wound in his office on 2nd floor, Caine House, Arsenal Street. He was certified dead before arriving at Queen Mary Hospital.

Kowloon West Regional Crime Unit is probing the case and will not exclude the possibility of suicide. A post mortem will be conducted tomorrow.
