Police are investigating a Tsuen Wan traffic accident in which a 39-year-old car driver died.

About 4.15am today the man was driving on Tuen Mun Road towards the New Territories when the vehicle hit a road sign and lamppost near Tsing Lung Tau Bridge.

The driver was certified dead at the scene.
