Customs officers have arrested two Malaysian women, aged 34 and 32, for selling counterfeit products through local auction websites.
They seized 1,200 items worth $40,000, including jewellery, leather and garment accessories holding European brand trademarks.
It is the first time tourists have been caught in Hong Kong advertising fake goods on a personal blog and using auction sites to sell them. They targeted customers in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia.
