A 41-year-old woman was killed in a Tsuen Wan alley last night.

Her husband contacted Police at about 10pm to report his wife was under attack and injured in the rear lane of 2-6 Tak Wah Street.

Officers found the woman lying unconscious there. She was certified dead at the scene.

She had serious head injuries, and a hammer was found nearby.

Police have classified the case as murder, and Tsuen Wan's District Crime Squad is investigating.
