Man arrested for dangerous driving

Police have arrested a 31-year-old private car driver in connection with an accident in which a 28-year-old woman died after being struck by his vehicle in Tuen Mun.

 

At about 7.15am today, the man was driving his car along Castle Peak Road when it hit the woman as she was crossing the road outside Lingnan University.

 

The woman was sent  to Tuen Mun Hospital where she was certified dead at 7.49am. The driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death.

 

Anyone who saw the accident should call Police at 2677 6299 or 2675 3385.
