A 76-year-old man has died after he was hit by a van in Tai Po this morning.

At about 9.35am, the van, driven by a 60-year-old man, was travelling along Kwong Fuk Road when it reportedly hit the elderly man as he crossed the road near Po Heung Street.

The senior was taken to Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital where he was certified dead at 11.08am.
